The distribution of the free land documents has been the issue in the AP state at the moment as YS Jagan failed to keep his promise of distributing the documents to the poor yesterday. So it gave an opportunity to pounce on the AP CM Jagan big time.
AP TDP state president Achennaidu alleged that the announcement of 28 lakh house documents given by the government was indeed fraudulent. It has been criticized that 70 per cent of them have been given the position ‘certificate’ and the government has been manipulating that original document was given.
This former minister further alleged that in a village in his constituency, 38 people were shown as eligible to avail the scheme and only seven were given the original documents. The remaining 31 were given a ‘position’ of their own land.
Achennaidu questioned what was the benefit of giving some useless and unsafe lands for house construction instead of an actual house that is already built? “Can CM Jagan and ministers stay for an hour in houses built on government-provided land? Nonetheless, the schemes were being devised to find ways to corruption,” said Atchenna.
Atchennaidu demanded a CBI probe into this issue and reminded that before the polls, Jagan has said that all the land was free and now the YSRCP govt is saying that only 300 yards is free.
