The Divis Pharma Laboratory which is being set up in the East Godavari Dist has become the talk of the state all of a sudden as the locals in that region continue to strike against its construction. In that order, the Janasena Party came forward in support of the protestors and gave a deadline of 10 days to Jagan Mohan Reddy.
JSP leader Nadendla Manohar reminded that 2016, YS Jagan come to Tuni as opposition leader and said that the AP people don’t need this industry and vowed that he will mix the laboratory in the Bay of Bengal. Manohar asked, “what has happened to the AP CM now? Can’t he keep his promise?”
Nadendla alleged that the government itself arrested the protestors and now they are asking the Divis management to withdraw the cases filed against the locals. He said that AP Minister is acting cleverly by saying that 75% of jobs in the industry will be given to the locals and there will be skill development.
So, Manohar warned that if no decision will be taken by the AP government in 10 days then Chief Pawan Kalyan will step up into the act. It is known that the agitation took a violent turn two days ago with the protestors barging into the unit and damaging property. Police arrested more than 20 people in this connection.
