Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been criticised for several aspects throughout his period as the CM of AP. Now, yet another issue has been added to the list, after 81 members have been appointed to the new TTD board, which has created a record for being the largest board so far, drawing criticism from opposition parties as well as social and religious organisations.
Opposition parties are saying that Jagan has made politicians, criminals and accused persons in CBI cases a part of the TTD board for his own personal and selfish reasons, and said that many of these people have made their way into TTD by manipulating the CM.
Many members of the new TTD board are said to have made their way into the board by submitting fake recommendation letters from prominent political figures. One such recommendation letter is said to be featuring Union Tourism Minister G.Kishan Reddy’s name, who, upon learning the same, is said to have written a letter to Jagan, asking the CM to take necessary actions.
