“Navaratnaalu” is the one of the primary reasons, that made YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh today. The nine promises he made naming it as Navaratnaalu, attracted all sections of public and gave him a massive majority in the elections. But much to the shock, right from the day, he took charge as the Chief Minister, he is breaking the promises at different levels.
During the election campaigning, Jagan promised that he would give Rs. 3000 as pension to the old aged people. But shockingly, on his swearing in ceremony itself, he announced to give Rs. 2250 and increase Rs. 250 every year, up to Rs. 3000. Since then, the young CM is continuing to give shocks to the public, in a strategic manner.
In the latest, Jagan, who promised to give Rs. 12500 as a crop investment support to the farmers under the scheme of “Rythu Bharosa”, is now trying to break the promise.
In the assembly, the YSRCP government has informed to provide only Rs. 6500 as support to the farmers. The Central government will give the remaining Rs. 6000 under Rythu Samman national level program.

Along with it, Jagan is expected to break several other promises made and minimize the benefits. As even the opposition party is unable to use the situation properly and criticize the state government, Jagan is moving forward with his own style of governance.
