Jagannanna Amma Odi inaugurated; mother’s will get Rs 15,000 every year

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the prestigious ‘Jagannanna Amma Odi’ scheme. The Chief Minister launched the Jagannanna Amma Odi Scheme on Thursday at the PVKN Government Degree College campus. Fifteen thousand thousand will be deposited every year in the accounts of the mothers of all students studying from first grade to intermediate.

Earlier, the Chief Minister reached Tirupati Airport. From there, through the Giripet, Amma OD Scheme was launched in the PVKN Government Degree College Campus. This occasion addressed the public meeting.

Let us tell you that the Amma Odi plan is one of the Navratnalu schemes of the YSR Congress Party. Amma Odi will benefit 46,78,361 lakh people of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, the officials completed all preparations for the Amma Odi program.

In this sequence, big posters put up on the main road and many parts of the city to welcome CM Jagan. Amma Odi aims to achieve complete literacy in the state. Also, children are not away from school due to poverty.

On the other hand, the police made extensive security arrangements due to the Chief Minister’s visit. Civil, AR, STF bomb disposal teams under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Senthil Kumar intensively investigated. It is noteworthy that under the ‘Amma Odi’ scheme, beneficiaries have selected with transparency. The beneficiaries list has displayed in schools of all the villages of the state. So far, 43 lakh mothers have identified as beneficiaries.

It learned that the beneficiaries selected based on a white ration card, Aadhaar card, and bank account. Rs 6,400 crore has been sanctioned for the ‘Amma Odi’ scheme. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only one to implement the ‘Amma Odi’ project in the country.
