BJP is still awaiting for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to occupy the seat of deputy speaker of Lok Sabha, implying that he agreed to tie up with the BJP.
But the YSRCP Chief, who kept the post on hold for quite some time, has finally decided to ignore it. When AP people are completely against BJP, which was proved in the recent elections, at this point of time, Jagan and his party, which got a thumping victory in the elections, agrees to tie up with BJP, it may create unnecessary disturbances among the public.

So unwilling to take such risk at this high moment of YSRCP, the young CM might have ignored the BJP’s offer. Addressing a parliamentary party meeting in Delhi, he also informed the same to his party MPs and stood on his word that YSRCP supports only the party, that would give special status to AP.
However, unwilling to disturb the relations with the BJP, Jagan instructed his MPs not to go against any of the leaders of the national party and maintain some healthy relations.
