Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released a whooping Rs.400 Crores for the development of Vizag. He will participate in a cabinet meeting with his ministers and discuss about the GN Rao Committee report tomorrow. He will then come up with an official announcement on the Capitals of the state on 28th of this month.
The celebrations have begun in Vishakhapatnam as it is proposed to be the executive capital of AP and the news is going to turn official in a few hours. Jagan issued seven GOs and released Rs. 394.50 crore to kick start development works in the port city.

Regarding this, Rs. 90 Crore will be allocated for road at Chukkavanipalem and Rs. 80 Crore for natural history park. Another Rs. 75 Crore will be allocated for a new road connecting Beach Road with IT SEZ area. Rs. 40 crore for integrated underground parking, Rs. 37 Crore for planetarium in Kailasagiri and finally Rs. 22.50 Crore have been allotted for bio-mining process plant at Kapuluppada.
Having seeing Jagan’s quick and firm decisions, it seems Vishakhapatnam is all set to witness a massive development in a short time and thus register as a strong Capital city of AP.
