Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently touring various districts of the state, having already toured Narasaraopet and Nandyal, where he addressed the people and spoke against the opposition, TDP. He is also to speak in East Godavari and Ongole, on Thursday and Friday respectively, where he is expected to once again attack the TDP and the Jana Sena.
Sources say that Jagan is considering early polls as he doesn’t want to take a risk. The elections are scheduled to take place in 2024, and with the people currently running against the Jagan government, for its various mishaps, and for the kind of financial condition it has pushed the state towards, the CM is said to be considering early elections so that he would get the people to vote for him.
He is currently trying to pacify all those who have been left disappointed after the shuffling of the cabinet, and he is expected to tour more districts, continuously, in the months to come, and interact with the people, trying to sustain their confidence in him. He is said to be confident that this would work in his favour, which is why Jagan is considering early elections, so that he would get the people’s vote, before they could change their mind.
