Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has finally started focusing on his uncle Vivekananda Reddy murder case.
The AP government has organized a SIT (Special Investigation Team) with 23 policemen from Ananthapur, Chittoor and Kadapa districts. The team will work under the leadership of Kadapa SP Abhishek Mahanthi.
The SIT visited Viveka’s residence in Pulivendula on Wednesday and collected some information from watchman Rangaiah.

Viveka was brutally murdered on 15th March at his residence in Pulivendula. While the Sakshi media initially reported the cause of death as heart stroke, the postmortem report revealed it as a murder.
This led to several anticipations in the media. The opposition parties blamed Jagan for the death of his uncle. Strengthening such allegations, even the police who was handling the case in Kadapa, was transferred and even Jagan brought a stay from the court, to stop the proceedings of Vivekananda Reddy murder case until the elections.
Finally, after forming the government, Jagan has now allowed to resume the investigation. While the young CM earlier blamed TDP that Naidu would influence the police officers and divert the case, it should be seen, how far the new CM will be able to dig the facts in his uncle’s murder mystery.
