After the formation of YSRCP government, the frequent power cuts have been observed in Andhra Pradesh. Such power cuts are troubling many businesses, industries etc. who are mostly dependent on the power supply.
In Chandrababu Naidu’s regime, he used to buy the power from other states at the higher quote and thus ensured that there is no shortage in power supply in the state. But Jagan is not making any such attempts.

APSPDCL CMD MM Nayak had earlier directed the electricity department that power cut should not exceed more than 30 minutes in urban areas and 1 hour in rural areas in a month. If at all there is any unavoidable reason behind power cuts, Ujjain citizen app should be used to send message to the local people. But no such activities are being performed by the new government.
This is making the public remember the good olden days of Naidu government, where there was no shortage of power supply. Electricity shortage is something that affects every individual, as there is no one who would stay away from using it. So it would gradually worsen the position of YSRCP in the state, if at all it continues to neglect the issue.
