Comedian Ali is an ardent supporter of TDP. In several interviews, he showered his love on the party and said that he would join in it, if the things go well.
But the star comedian also said that he prefers to join in a political party that assures him a minister post. In fact, he also made enough attempts in TDP for it, but due to the inconsistent behaviour of Ali, the TDP Chief kept him away and shockingly, the comedian then picked YSRCP over TDP.
Ali joined in YSRCP, only after he was assured a big post, the reports say. But due to the prior commitments, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had to keep Ali away, as he approached YSRCP only in the last minute.

So, with no other option left, Ali reportedly tried to reach his friend Pawan Kalyan. In fact, the comedian tried to meet him in US itself, when the Janasena Chief had attended TANA Convention as the Chief Guest. But the things did not materialize as Pawan was not willing to meet Ali, due to the kind of backstabbing, the comedian resorted to.
While the comedian is still trying to make attempts to contact Pawan Kalyan, knowing this, Jagan called Ali and assured him an MLC post and also a minister post later.
It seems, the young CM is making sure no of his supporters move out of the party, such that it would result in criticism and act as an advantage to the other parties.
