People infected with the coronavirus will lose their sense of smell and sense of taste. Doctors say that there is nothing to fear about this. However, a research has shown that it takes a year for victims who have lost their sense of smell and sensae of taste to regain. To this end, an article on this research was published in the Jama Network Open.

As part of the research, researchers spent a year studying 97 people who lost their sense of smell and taste due to corona. Of the 97, 51 were asked to test and report every four months to see if the sense of smell and taste had regained.
