Recent reports state that participants of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine candidate have shown severe hangover after receiving the first inoculation of the vaccine and complained, it caused them headaches, fever and muscle aches.
The aforementioned side effects of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine have been reported days after the US pharmaceutical giant and its German partner, BioNTech, declared the vaccine was 90 per cent effective against the Covid-19 infection. And very soon permits from FDA for emergency use was about to be issued.
The adverse effects are pretty common during the clinical trial stages. This has to be fixed by researchers and reported while being vigilant. But reports of side effects after announcing it to be 90 % has now become challenging to Pfizer. Experts are now raising the question whether it is truly reliable to ward off COVID-19. They demanded more safety reports.
