Bharatiya Janatha Party leader Lanka Dinakar’s defection into the BJP after the 2019 general elections was indeed a shock to the AP political circles. He had been with TDP for many years but nobody expected this move from a senior party leader that too joining the BJP whose position is much worse when compared to TDP.
Now, the Bharatiya Janata Party issued Showcase notices to Lanka Dinakar along with three of their leaders. They were issued notices for engaging in frequent TV debates and expressing an opinion contrary to party ideology. The notices also demanded an explanation from each and every one of them.
After this happening, pro-political analysts are saying that now, it all makes sense. There have been allegations on Dinakar that he has been leaking the internal affairs of the BJP to the TDP political circles. It is very interesting to see that the notices were issued after Somu Veerraju was appointed the new AP BJP president.
The reports are out that Dinkar has been accused of conveying issues discussed at party internal meetings to some TDP leaders and this ‘TV debates’ thing is just a cover for the public. So, do TDP deliberately placed Dinakar in BJP as a tactic or Dinakar couldn’t resist showing his affection on the Yellow party?
