Sensational director Puri Jaggandh and young sensation Vijay Deverakonda have teamed up together for the first time for the film titled Fighter. The shooting of the film will commence from February in Mumbai.
As per our reliable sources, Puri is facing issues with the casting of the film. Going into the details, Puri has roped in Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, but it is heard that the team is waiting for her final confirmation to proceed further. It is now heard that Janhvi is yet to give her nod and she may take time to sign on the dotted-lines as she is busy with her upcoming films in Bollywood.
As per our reliable sources, Puri Jagannadh is making plans to look for another actress in case if Janhvi fails to accommodate dates. It is also heard that Puri is also looking for another role, who should play the role of a boxing champion (Vijay Deverakonda’s fight master in the film). It seems Puri is facing casting issues for these two roles.
Fighter, which is a big-budgeted film, will be launched in January on a grand note. Touted to be a boxing drama, this large-scale movie will be bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh in association with Karan Johar. The film will release in multiple languages.
