Puri Jagannadh is experiencing one of the worst phases of his life after Liger’s release. The film is a box office debacle and then there’s the issue with distributors and now, there’s an ED investigation on the investments in Liger’s production.
On top of all that, Puri is yet to clear Vijay Deverakonda’s remuneration for Liger.
It was agreed that Vijay would be paid Rs 10 crores for Liger. But Puri paid only Rs 5 crore till now and he is yet to clear the remaining amount.
Vijay isn’t troubling Puri for now, knowing all that he’s going through, but any pending monetary issues could lead to ugly consequences in the future and Puri should be well aware of the same. How will he tackle this situation? We have to see.
