Mythri Movie Makers are one of the leading production houses in Tollywood now and the stakes are high on their production ventures these days. They had even launched their own distribution house recently and have been making swift inroads accordingly.
Incidentally, Mythri Movie Makers had lost a whopping Rs 18 crores through film distribution business in the Nizam region alone.
Mythri bought the distribution rights of Adipurush, Bro, and Kushi and gave these films a wide release. But sadly for them, they couldn’t see any profits on these films.
Kushi just about broke even in Nizam but the other two films incurred big losses to the buyers and Mythri were on the receiving end of the same.
Distribution is always a risky business and not often do top producers rely on the same. But Mythri wanted a grip over theatrical distribution so they are trying their hand it. But this has burnt a hole in their pockets now.
