Thaman, the highly sought-after music director in Telugu cinema, faces a challenge with the absence of a stable music studio in Hyderabad despite working on multiple projects concurrently.
As a solution, he has chosen to use the Park Hyatt hotel at Banjara Hills as his workplace and residence. The hotel provides him with a fully equipped suite room, and additional rooms are booked under his name as well.
Recently, Thaman surprised a producer by sending a bill of Rs 40 lakh solely for hotel expenses. The producer was taken aback by this unexpected cost. With Thaman juggling multiple projects, it raises concerns about how producers will share these bills.
However, there is no established system for such situations, leaving them no choice but to pay. Furthermore, complaints have arisen regarding Thaman’s delivery time, as he has only completed one song for an upcoming Dasara release.
The combination of the unstable studio setup and unexpected hotel bills adds to the frustrations and concerns within the Telugu film industry.
