It is known that Lyca Productions filed a court case against maverick director Shankar for not completing Indian 2. The production house urged the Madras High Court to ban Shankar from working on other projects for not honouring their agreement.
Incidentally, Shankar responded to Lyca’s allegation and made his his argument.
“At first, Kamal Hassan had some allergy due to the make-up and the shoot was halted. Later, there was this crane accident followed by the Covid outbreak. I cannot be blamed for the delay in shoot,” he responded to Lyca’s allegation.
Kamal Hassan is presently mediating between Lyca Productions and Shankar as he wishes to solve the issue amicably.
Kamal wants to complete Indian 2 shoot at the earliest so that he can move onto his future commence.
