As the second wave of corona is increasing at a faster rate, the Central Government has focused on increasing the availability of corona vaccines in the country. Recently, it has announced that new vaccines will be approved soon.
Russia’s Sputnik-V vaccine is expected to reach Indian markets by the next week. Speaking at a press conference, a member of the Justice Commission, Dr.VK Paul said, 216 crore doses will be available in India between August and December this year. They include single-drop and single-dose nasal vaccines from Bharat Biotech. He said that about 18 crore doses of vaccine have been used in India so far and the mark will reach 35.6 crores by July. The United States is at the top on the list of countries vaccinating highest number of people. India ranks third in the list after China.
