The second wave of corona resulted in an increase in the death toll in India. Hospitals across the country are facing a shortage of medical oxygen as large-scale corona cases are being reported.
Against this backdrop, the nations of the world are standing by India. India, in particular, is receiving a huge amount of aid from the United States. India received the aid of over half a billion dollars (approximately Rs.3,671.875 crore in Indian currency) from the Joe Biden government.
Also, the world’s leading tech, pharma companies, NGOs, and the Indian American community are extending a helping hand to India. According to statistics, India has so far received nearly half a billion dollars in aid from the United States.
