If TDP wins the Municipal polls, we will reduce the property tax: Chandrababu

TDP chief Chandrababu has warned that the ‘Jagananna’ property tax will be levied on the people of the state from April 1 i.e; after the completion of the municipal elections.

He asked the leaders of TDP to make people aware of the tax burden which increases from Rs 5,000 to Rs 50,000 now. Chandrababu said that if people make TDP win in the Municipal elections, he will reduce the property tax to half of Rs 50,000.

Recently, Chandrababu held a teleconference with party leaders across the state. He made it clear to the leaders of his party that the property tax increases whenever the government increases the registration value.

He also criticized the state government for the additional taxes being levied on the people in addition to petrol and diesel prices. He said he was participating in the election campaign to point out the illegal rule and atrocities of the YCP government.
