The social media pages of various police departments across the country have now started using film clippings to spread awareness. Not so long ago, Mumbai police used a digitally modified poster of Pushpa, which shows Allu Arjun with a face mask, to spread awareness on Covid appropriate behaviour.
Now, Hyderabad Police have used a scene from Balakrishna’s Akhanda to spread awareness on using seatbelts while seated in a car.
The Twitter handle of Hyderabad Traffic Police shared a clipping from A1khanda, in which Balakrishna is seen advising Pragya about the importance of wearing a seatbelt. This post is going viral now and rightly so. This sure is one innovative way to propagate social awareness.
“#HYDTPweBringAwareness, No Matter How Far, No Matter Whose Car, Always Buckle Up! #WearASeatBelt #seatbelt Thank you #NandamuriBalaKrishna Garu & #BoyapatiSrinu Garu for promoting Road Safety. #Akhanda.” The social media post read.
