Huge explosion in Vizag’s Ramky Pharma City

Few days back, the leakage of poisonous gas in Vizag killed few people, injuring several others. Even before forgetting this incident, another one happened yesterday night at Vizag’s Ramky Pharma City, Parawada.

At around 10:30PM, locals heard a huge blast followed by raising fire in the Pharma City. People living around 10kms away from the site too were able to hear the explosion. 12 fire engines came to the spot to put off the fire that raised to a level of 50 feet. One person working at the site is said to have got injured. Exact reason for the explosion is yet to be investigated. An initial report says that one of the five reactors in the surrounding area caught fire and storage of chemicals in excess volume is assumed to be the main reason for the explosion.

Politicians in Vizag area were alerted with this incident and the Police officials along with the fire fighters worked throughout the night to make sure the situation comes under control.
