It is know that team India star cricketer Rishabh Pant sustained a severe injury a couple of weeks ago. He is currently recovering from the injuries he sustained following the accident.
The discussion is now about how long Pant will be missing cricket and the reports are not very promising in this aspect.
It is confirmed that he will certainly miss this year’s IPL. He will not be able to play cricket for at least another 18 more months, meaning he will be missing the T20 world cup in June 2024.
Pant will continue on his road to recovery till the medical team assessing him deems him fit for returning to cricketing action. This is still a fair way off from now.
Pant could be making a comeback to cricket only towards the end of 2024. But the BCCI and the Delhi Capitals IPL franchise will continue to support him in the meanwhile.
