In the 2014 election affidavit, KT Rama Rao declared assets worth Rs 8 crore. As of 2018, the Telangana minister’s net worth has gone up to Rs 41 crore. Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy questioned what KTR has done to increase its wealth by 425 percent in just four years. He said the market value of the property declared by the minister mentioned in the affidavit.

Revanth Reddy said, KTR announced that they bought 26,195 sq ft of land at Puppalguda at the price of Rs 500 per sq ft. But the market price is Rs 10,000 per sq ft. Who sold property worth Rs 26.19 crore to KTR for just 1 crore? If there is an investigation on the departments run by the CM’s son, corruption is exposed.
