The Malla Reddy educational institutes are one of the most widely recognized institutes in the Telangana state, with thousands of students. These institutes are run as government subsidies, and with the latest IT raids, it has come to light that huge irregularities and corruption are taking place in these institutions.
These institutions have been found to have collected more than the prescribed fees, which have been collected in the form of cash, which was in turn invested in the real estate business and spent on the Mallareddy-Narayana hospital. Thus far, Rs. 6 Crores have been seized, in cash. More than 400 IT officials and staff from Odisha and Karnataka, including several officials from the Hyderabad region, took part in this IT raid, which consisted of 65 teams to carry out the searches.
Evidence has been collected by the officials. Telangana Minister Malla Reddy said that all the accounts and certificates pertaining to their assets and businesses are correct.
