House Arrest Movie Review

House Arrest is a comedy entertainer movie directed by Sekhar Reddy Yerra. The movie has Srinivas Reddy, Saptagiri, Allari Ravi Babu, Adhurs Raghu, Ravi Prakash, Sunaiana, Thagubothu Ramesh in important roles. The music is composed by Anup Rubens and it is produced by K Niranjan Reddy under the banner of Prime show entertainment banner.

Story:

5 kidnappers (Srinivas Reddy, Saptagiri, Adhurs Raghu, Jabardasth Vinod & Unni Krishna) try to enter a house and loot the things inside the house. But they are taken hostage by a bunch of kids (Master Shiva Shanth, Master Rithesh, Master Vasheekarr, Baby Nethra & Baby Khushee) who are inside that house. How will the kids trap the kidnappers? How will a police officer (Ravi Babu) solve this case? Needs to be seen in the film.

What about on-screen performances?

All the 5 main child actors Master Shiva Shanth, Master Rithesh, Master Vasheekarr, Baby Nethra & Baby Khushee are the best part of the film. They are adorable and provide some good neat humor with their cute performances.

The 5 kidnapers Srinivas Reddy, Saptagiri, Adhurs Raghu, Jabardasth Vinod & Unni Krishna also add up to the fun along with the kids. Each one does a decent job with their respective trademark comedy.

Ravi Babu does well as the police officer while Thagubothu Ramesh also makes us laugh whenever he comes on screen.

The rest of the cast including Ravi Prakash, Sunaiana, Koushik, Sampath, Master Krithan, Master Mokshith, Master Ruthwik, Master Rushank, and others are fine in their respective roles.

What about off-screen talents?

Director Sekhar Reddy Yerra succeeds in entertaining the viewers with some funny situations and comedy sequences. Even though the entire film is set inside a single house, the way he churns out comedy from all his actors, the way he uses the limited space and creates fun is commendable.

J Yuvaraj’s camera work is superb. All the interior shots and the lighting patterns are spot on.

The background score by Anup Rubens gels well with the flow of the film. He makes the funny situations, even more, funnier with his background score.

The edit by Chota K Prasad is crips and the film is just about 2 hours in run time.

The artwork, production values, and all other technical aspects are adequate for a film like this.

Verdict: On the whole, House Arrest is a pretty decent comedy entertainer which can be watched with the whole family and especially kids can enjoy the film to the core.
