Vikram Poola, the political adviser of Prajarajyam Party, came up with an incident, mega star Chiranjeevi faced with Ravi Prakash in the past.
The note released by Vikram reads, “During Prajarajyam days in 2009, Chiranjeevi used to visit Tirupathi (the constituency from where he won as an MLA) every 20 days and listen to the problems, public bring to him, staying for two days in the city. When Chiranjeevi fails to visit, Rtd Sr IAS Vara Prasad used to act on behalf of Chiru and note all the public problems and update the same to Prajarajyam Chief over the phone, everyday. I used to accompany Chiranjeevi, on most of his visits to Tirupati.”
“Once Chiranjeevi failed to turn up for Tirupathi over a month, due to the assembly meetings and flight cancellations. While Chiru and his team were making vigorous efforts to visit Tirupathi, meanwhile TV9 came into the picture, reporting that Chiranjeevi is ignoring his constituency since long. About 10 youths holding placards against Chiranjeevi said, ‘We are quite disappointed with the Prajarajyam Chief, as he failed to turn up to constituency, over the past 6 months. We are planning to complain against him in the police station.’ TV9 repeatedly highlighted the issue throughout the day, blaming Chiranjeevi to the core.”
“After a few days of the incident, we went to Tirupathi and there are no people who were against us, as shown in the TV9. When we were in our guest house, a few of the senior journalists, who were not part of TV9, said that the ten people who spoke against Chiranjeevi, were arranged by TV9.”
“Later in 2013, when Chiranjeevi became the central minister, he gave an interview for TV9, along with other media channels. While the heads of all the channels like ABN, TV5, NTV etc greeted Chiru and welcomed him into their channel for an interview, Ravi Prakash did not meet Chiru. The channel interviewer after the interview, requested Chiru to meet CEO, for which the Prajarajyam Chief agreed to it and met Ravi in his chamber. I did not like Chiru’s gesture and said the same to him. But Chiru said that he understood my intention and asked me to leave it.”
In the ongoing TV9 controversy where Ravi Prakash is facing forgery allegations, a note from Vikram Poola, that explained the difference between Chiranjeevi and Ravi Prakash, is now going viral on the social media.
