For the past few weeks, there have been speculations that Tollywood actor Nagarjuna Akkineni is likely to contest the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections in 2024.
Reports suggested the star may contest on a YSRCP ticket from Vijayawada. Responding to these speculations, Nag said that there is no truth in the campaign that he will contest as Vijayawada’s Member of Parliament.
“Every time there is an election, there is a campaign saying that I will contest in it. I am not contesting any election. I am away from politics now. If a good story comes, I will act as a political leader,” Nagarjuna said.
On the work front, Nagarjuna will next be seen in ‘The Ghost’, which is set to hit the screens on October 5th.
