The lockdown 4.0 will end by tomorrow and this lockdown has provided many relaxations and exemptions to common citizens along with businessmen, retail shop owners, and street vendors. So, everyone is eager to watch Modi’s speech to know whether there is an extension of the lockdown or not.
It is known that Amit Shah, personally called each and every CM in the country and asked their stand on the lockdown extension. Every Chief Minister suggested the lockdown to extend but there is a twist at the end. After discussing the plans for lockdown extension, center came up with a plan by which they believe that the COVID-19 transmission can be controlled effectively.
It is known that with the relaxations given in Lockdown 4.0, many people misused these exemptions and forgot to follow the safety norms almost all over the country. So, the center wants to increase the intensity of the lockdown in 30 major cities in the country in which 80% of the COVID-19 cases have been registered so far.
Mainly 13 cities comprise 70% of the entire Corona cases in the entire country and no exemptions will be provided to those cities whatsoever until the number of red zones and containment clusters were reduced in those hotspots. The areas, towns, and cities which are free of COVID-19 risk will enjoy many more relaxations as of now but the officials need to be careful by making sure the citizens in these areas follow the social distance and hygienic activities.
