The appointment process of the new governing body of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has been completed. A new governing body of 25 was formed. YV Subbareddy, TTD Chairman, officially announced the details of the board members this evening.
Speaking to the media after meeting CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the camp office in Tadepalli, Subbareddy said that more opportunities were given to newcomers in the governing body. It was clarified that there are no powers for special invitees.
The last governing body had a total of 36 members, of which 24 were members of the governing body and 8 were invited as special invitees. Four ex officio members were appointed. This time, however, the number was reduced. The governing body was formed to give them access to all parts of the state.
The prominent names which surfaced include “Pokala Ashok Kumar, Malladi Krishna Rao, Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, Golla Baburao, Burra Madhusudan Yadav”, from Andhra Pradesh.
“My Home head Jupally Rameshwara Rao, Manne Jeevan Reddy, Reddy Lakshminarayana, Parthasarathy Reddy, Maram Shetty Ramulu and Kalvakurthi Vidya Sagar Rao,” from Telangana. “Srinivasan, MLA Nandakumar and Kannayya,” from Tamil Nadu. “Shashidhar and MLA Vishwanath Reddy,” from Karnataka and Shiv Sena secretary Milind is picked from Maharashtra.
