It is already known that YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju underwent medical tests at the GGH hospital today. According to the district court’s orders, he was supposed to be taken to Ramesh hospitals as well, for a checkup. However, the AP CID took RRR directly to the Guntur jail, instead of taking him to Ramesh hospitals for a checkup.
RRR’s lawyers took this discrepancy to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh’s notice immediately. After listening to the hearings, the AP High Court ordered for the AP CID to immediately shift RRR to Ramesh hospitals and to get the necessary examinations done. It also asked the CID to make sure that RRR’s injuries are tended to.
RRR is currently on remand until the 28th of this month. On the other hand, it is known that the AP CID arrested RRR for falsely propagating fear among the people of AP, against the AP government, and for defaming the government and certain people.
