Happy Birthday Mahesh Babu: From Prince to A True Superstar

There are many actors in the Telugu film industry, who came through their fathers, as their successors, and have been taking forward the legacy of their fathers, by doing films that entertain the audience, and by setting the right example to society through their actions. Of many such actors currently present in the industry, Superstar Mahesh Babu occupies a special position, given that he’s been longer than many of his contemporaries in the industry, and he has truly set the bar high when it comes to keeping the legacy of one’s father alive.

Mahesh started out as a Prince, the son of Superstar Krishna, having made his debut in Needa, in 1979, as a child artist, and then went on to appear in several films as a child artist, alongside his father in several movies as well, until 1990, after which he took a 9-year long break before he made his debut as a leading man with Rajakumarudu, directed by Raghavendra Rao. With his very first film itself, Mahesh proved his mettle through his performance, and then rose above anyone else in the industry with one film after another, until he totally hit it out of the park with Pokiri, which turned out to be such a huge success, that it became an industry hit in Tollywood, and then went on to be remade in several other languages.

He is also an actor who never backed down when it came to experimenting with scripts and taking a chance. This has resulted in a lot of mixed results for him, but almost every experiment of his stands out to date. While he has not been experimenting much in recent years, he nevertheless fails to entertain the audiences with his movies.

Apart from excelling in his career, Mahesh Babu is also the perfect example of a family man, always prioritizing his family before anything else, and setting an example for everyone else in the industry. He is also known for his philanthropic works, from adopting villages to taking care of poor children, there’s a lot of good that he’s done for society, and the fact that he doesn’t rave about any of his deeds set him apart.

Mahesh is also known for being probably the only South actor to have refused to be part of any Bollywood films because of his love for his language and his people. On the work front, Mahesh is currently busy with Guntur Kaaram, which is directed by Trivikram Srinivas, making this the third film between the two, after Athadu and Khaleja, which remain as two cult classics in the industry to date.

Here at Telugubulletin.com, we extend our warmest wishes to Superstar Mahesh Babu on his special day. Happy Birthday!
