H4 visa holders in USA are safe till March of 2020

Visa issues were still prevailing in the USA and the H4 visa holders were waiting for the final verdict from the government on their employment situation in USA. Trump’s administration proposed the ban of H4 visas to the spouses of H1B visa holders and the publication is initially expected to come into effect from Feb 2017.

Later on, it got delayed and the government mentioned it to be in place from Feb 2018. Now the US DOJ (Department of Justice) clarified that the publication will not get executed atleast till March of 2020. So, the H4 visa holders are safe till March next year. As per the reports, 90% of the H4 visa holders are Indians.

Meanwhile, as the elections are fast approaching, Trump’s administration too may show some good stand towards the Indian community in USA. The recent acceptance of Trump to attend the Houston Modi’s rally is the best example. Stay tuned for latest updates on the visa issues.
