Recently, Britain approved the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for use against coronavirus.
It’s the second coronavirus vaccine to get clearance for emergency use in the UK after Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech vaccine.
According to statements from the company and the government, the vaccine will be prioritized for the most vulnerable groups early in the new year.
AstraZeneca company declared that the vaccine was a two-dose regime.
The first dose of this vaccine will be given to as many people as possible, followed by a second dose within three months.
The vaccine was approved only for emergency supply.
As per the latest news, Britain has ordered 100 million doses of this vaccine.
The vaccine can be stored even in refrigerators, unlike the Pfizer vaccine.
