TDP leaders Gowru Venkat Reddy and Gowru Charitha Reddy have responded to the arrest of BC Janardhan Reddy.
Venkat Reddy said that Janardhan Reddy was targeted for trying to prevent the invasion of the lands of SC and ST lands by the ruling YSRCP leaders.
“Since the YCP government came to power, there have been several incidents in the Kurnool Parliament constituency, including the Banaganapalle assembly constituency. If any of the officials respond to the complaints of the TDP justifiably, the government is also making false allegations against them. When Janardhan Reddy was arrested, the TDP leadership across the district responded immediately,” Gowru Venkat Reddy said.
Former MLA Gowru Charitha Reddy alleged the YSRCP has been making false allegations against opposition leaders since it came to power. Janardhan Reddy and his wife have been trying to protect the constituency and the party from the very beginning. That is why the YCP leaders raised the orbit against them.
“We urge the TDP’s top leadership to repay the YSRCP for all its illegal cases when the TDP comes to power,” she said.
