Governor the new HERO of Telangana, KCR should accept defeat?

Telangana Government headed by KCR has been disastrous in the COVID management so far. If we ignore the numbers, there are confident reports that many COVID positive people in Hyderabad remained untested and untreated. There were string operations done by the media houses to expose the secrets and irregularities in the COVID death numbers in Corona Health Bulletin.

Amid all this criticism, KCR did time pass with the secretariat issue, Usamania hospital issue, and went to the farmhouse to take rest. Now, the issue of the recent floods masked their mismanagement of the Pandemic. In the meanwhile, Telangana Governor Tamilsai conducted a detailed investigation on the COVID precautionary measures that are being taken by the TRS government.

In her recent interview with a national media channel, Tamilsai expressed her distress over KCR’s COVID management techniques. She said that they are just covering up their faults by making these statements like ‘we are following ICMR guidelines’ and said that the entire government is a failure in COVID testing practice. She added that the COVID treatment has become a burden for the government in Telangana and the people are looking at private hospitals that are charging lakhs for the basic treatment of COVID as they have no trust in the government and its hospitals.

These comments from her really take some guts and she did what KCR hasn’t been able to do all these days. Tamilsai said that she wrote several letters to KCR but nothing changed the situation in the state. Of course, it is known that Tamilsai fired on the TRS government for not listing the basic charges for COVID treatment in Private hospitals in Telangana even after receiving her directions. Now, the governor criticizing her own state governor shows her dynamic element and KCR can do nothing but to accept his defeat in this fight with Pandemic.
