Amidst the Lock Down, Indian Government is supplying goods directly to the houses of the individuals. In some states where there is a shortage of volunteers, Government is asking people to stand in line to take the ration. Strict timings were being followed and distancing is maintained for safety reasons.
One commodity which is not much available to the individuals at this moment is liquor. It seems that in West Bengal, crime rate is increasing due to the alcoholics not getting enough liquor and Mamata Banerjee decided to put liquor in the commodities list for home delivery.
As per the details, individuals can call and place order on liquor between 11AM to 2PM and it will be delivered by 5PM. With this, the West Bengal Government believes that the crime rate may come down. We have to see if other state Governments too start implementing the same concept. Stay tuned for more updates.
