With the Corona Virus roaming all around, ‘Social Distancing’ is turning into a common term in the world. As the countries are reopening their sectors and social distancing is being maintained everywhere, Google came up with an interesting AR app “Sodar” that lets people practice social distancing.
This AR app shows the 2 meters distance virtually on the phone’s screen to let the person know if he is too close to someone or is maintaining safe distance. This app can currently be launched from chrome and it works on limited set of Android phone models that are AR compatible.
Not just Google, few more companies are working on similar sort of AR applications which will help people in staying safe in this Covid-19 era. Robotics, AR and Automation are the trending domains in the current scenario and these domains might rule the world for few more years.
