GHMC elections: No Janasena, only BJP

Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan met union minister and BJP senior leader Kishan Reddy today and took a key decision on the coming GHMC elections.

Pawan Kalyan stated his party will be fully supporting BJP in the GHMC elections and asked his party leaders to withdraw their nominations for the elections.

“I am aware of the fact that our decision to withdraw nominations is a painful one but we should look at the greater scheme of things and act accordingly. I urge Janasena troops to fight tirelessly and support BJP in the elections,” he said.

Pawan Kalyan cited the potential split in vote share if BJP and Janasena contest independently as the reason behind his decision to fully support BJP.

Also, BJP leader Lakshman said Pawan Kalyan agreed to campaign for BJP candidates in GHMC elections.

The endpoint is that Janasena will not be contesting in the GHMC elections, owing to political equations and the party will be supporting the saffron party.
