Anjali’s hit film “Geethanjali” from 2014 is getting a sequel titled “Geethanjali Malli Vachindi” after 9 years, directed by Shiva Turlapati. This marks Anjali’s 50th film. The teaser suggests it’ll offer a mix of horror and comedy, as a film crew ventures into the haunted Sangeet Mahal for their shoot, only to find reality mirroring their script with supernatural encounters.
The mystery surrounding Sangeet Mahal and the crew’s safety remain unanswered until the release. The star-studded cast includes Srinivas Reddy, Sunil, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Bramhaji, Ravi Shankar, and Rahul Madhav.
Kona Venkat wrote the story and co-wrote the screenplay with Bhanu Bhogavarapu. Scheduled for release on March 22, 2024, the horror-comedy is produced by MVV Satyanarayana and GV under MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation banners.
