Galla Jayadev, TDP MP from Guntur and a family member of the Amararaja Batteries group, has today clarified the various rumours surrounding their family and their company. It has been speculated that the MP’s family and business was being planned to shift to Tamil Nadu from AP, due to the various problems that are being raised for the company due to the Andhra Pradesh government.
The opposition, TDP, has also been publicising this issue to cast a shadow on the AP government. On top of that, the pollution control board officials and the government’s advisor, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, said that they have issued notices to the company and would take action if the company failed to comply with the rules. All of these are only increasing the number of problems for the Galla family.
As a result, it was being said that the family is planning to shift to Tamil Nadu. However, with Galla Jayadev and his father’s clarification today, it is clear that they are going nowhere. With respect to the pollution board allegations, they said that they would not like to comment on that and that they haven’t polluted any villages or livelihoods.
