TV9 Ex CEO Ravi Prakash and KVS Murthy have been arrested on Saturday on the basis of forgery, cheating and conspiracy cases filed against them.
Even after the numerous notices were issued, asking him to attend the police station, Ravi Prakash failed to obey any of such notices and so the Jubilee Hills police arrested him today.
According to the Alanda Media, Ravi Prakash, along with Murthy has diverted a total of Rs. 18 crores of TV9 funds, out of which Rs. 6 crores have been diverted by Periera, another employee of the popular news channel.
In a complaint filed with the Banjara Hills police in September, Alanda media management had alleged that Ravi Prakash and Murthy drew “huge sums from the bank accounts of the company without substantiating any entitlement under law or following the prescribed procedure”.
