Unknown people targeted former TDP MLA Sugunamma. Beer bottles were thrown at the former MLA’s house by unknown persons. In this attack, the glass windows of the house have suffered a lot of damage.
Sugunamma’s Family member has lodged a police complaint about the attack on her house. He called for stern action against the people behind the incident.
Sugunamma served as an MLA from the Tirupati assembly constituency during the TDP regime from 2014 to 2019. In the 2019 elections, Bhumna Karunakara Reddy contested against Sugunamma and won by a margin of around 600 votes. Bhumna got 80,544 votes, while Sugunamma got 79,836 votes.
