Former chief minister of United Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy has had a rather torrid political run ever since. In 2014, he floated his own party and contested on the same, only to face a bad defeat.
Later Kiran Kumar Reddy and his brother joined TDP in 2019 and ended up losing from their hometown Pileru.
Now, Kiran Kumar Reddy is set to switch loyalties again as he is joining in BJP today. He will be joining in the saffron party today and take the saffron oath.
He is confirmed to contest from Pileru on BJP ticket in the next elections. But in the meanwhile, his brother is still with TDP and he is expecting a ticket from the party.
Can Kiran’s shift to BJP be of any influence in the Rayalaseema region, which is a stronghold for Jagan? We should see.
