Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi today.
According to reports, the 63-year-old was taken to AIIMS around 12 noon after she complained of a stomach infection. A few reports also revealed that she was hospitalised for a routine checkup. She has been admitted to a private ward of the hospital.
Reports revealed that the FM’s condition is stable, and she is doing fine. More details regarding her health condition are awaited.
Nirmala Sitharaman has been a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, since 2014. She is serving as the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of India since 2019.
