A major fire broke out at Shiva Parvathi cinema hall on Sunday night at Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, Hyderabad.
With this, the theatre was completely burnt down. As per reports, the furniture inside the theatre was reduced to ashes, and the roof also collapsed. The officials believe the cause of the accident was a short circuit.
After getting the information from the security guard, three fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot and put out the blaze. However, no casualties were reported, as there was no one in the cinema hall when the incident happened. Officials have initially estimated the damage at Rs 2 crore. Police filed a case, and an investigation is going on.
