It has been an year since the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh would have three capitals. The Amaravti agitation also marked an year during this time and the relentless efforts and committment from the Amaravati people are well appreciated through ‘Jana Bheri’ most recently.
During the past year, Jagan didn’t really care about the ongoing protests but it seems he felt the heat for the first time during ‘Jana Bheri’. It is known that all the Amaravati protestors held a big rally in Rayapudi on the occassion of the completion of 1 year of the agitation they started against the government’s decision.
A day after that YSR Congress Party held a counter rally as YSRC ranks out the rally from Lodge Centre to Market Centre and raised slogans in support of three capitals. This YSRCP rally was attended by MLAs Maddali Giridhar, Mustafa and Meruga Nagarjuna.
With the peolpe participated in the rally and the leaders addressed during the same, it is clear that this is a desperate attempt from YSRCP government to pose they are still in the game but one can easily say that Jagan felt the effect of ‘Jana Bheri’ big time.
