After three BJP leaders were caught trying to bribe TRS members to join them, in a farmhouse, things have not been the same in the Telangana political scene. KCR’s name has been dragged into the case in a major way, given that the Telangana Chief Minister spoke about the issue at a public event, where he released a set of proofs.
The High Court transferred the case’s interrogation to the CBI, which seems to have caused quite the tension for the Telangana government, as they are trying to make sure that the CBI doesn’t take over the case, by applying for a stay order on the HC’s decision. To get a stay order, the government lawyers are arguing that KCR did not release any videos to the public, and that he simply played the videos which were already available on the public domain by then.
The lawyers previously argued that Pilot Rohit Reddy may have had leaked the information online, but now, even that argument is gone. They are trying to prove to the court that KCR did not release any proof or information at all, even though KCR had publicly announced that he intends to send every proof he has, to every court in the country. This is going to be a tough time for KCR, it looks like!
